Smashing Plastic is an organization that was founded in 2020 from the combination of experience in the 3D printing sector and joining a large community called Precious Plastic, of which we, along with a few other organizations, have become the Italian representatives. We have ten years of experience:

Andrea - as Studio MP, working in the fields of design, prototyping, and consulting in digital tools such as 3D printing and surveys.

Tommaso - after an experience at Plastic Lab in Ibiza, returned to Italy and proposed to the partners the idea of starting a company based on the upcycling of plastic materials. 

Smashing Plastic’s philosophy is based on the belief that the world can be improved and that there are aspects that require change. Smashing Plastic aims to transform the way people view plastic, a resource often criticized, with the goal of challenging preconceived notions.
